ONLYBADVISUALS is committed to protecting the integrity of human creativity, expression, and authenticity.

We do not support the use of generative AI models to create “artworks,” as they bypass the skill, intention, and emotional labour that define human artistry. Art is a reflection of lived experience and personal vision, and these qualities cannot be meaningfully reproduced by machines.

At the same time, we recognise that it is not entirely possible to avoid these technologies. The use of tools such as LLM's for routine or administrative tasks may form part of our workflow where appropriate.

We are aware of the broader impact AI has on both the environment and the creative economy. While we do not morally align with the practices of many of these companies, we also acknowledge the reality of a rapidly evolving landscape where complete disengagement is not always practical. In light of this, we remain committed to championing human creativity, ethical practice, and environmental responsibility. Our work will continue to prioritise people, culture, and the wellbeing of the world around us. We aim to be transparent in how and where technology is used, ensuring it never replaces the core human element of our creative process.

We will actively support and uplift artists, valuing originality, authorship, and the time it takes to develop craft. Where possible, we will seek out methods and workflows that reduce harm, both environmentally and socially, and remain critical of tools that compromise these values. As the industry evolves, we choose to move forward with intention rather than convenience, holding ourselves accountable to the standards we believe creative work deserves.
