Our Creator Network is the foundation of how this agency runs. When a client comes along, with a specific need that our team cannot handle by ourselves, we reach deep into our large extensive creator network, bringing work to freelancers that would otherwise be out of the loop for most B2B work. Giving not just a gig, but growth and networking opportunities.

HOW IT
WORKS

NOTE: WE WILL NEVER ASK FOR ANY MONEY FOR YOU TO JOIN THE CREATOR NETWORK
There is no sign-up fee or payment required at any stage of the application process. If anyone claiming to represent OBV asks you for money or payment of any kind, they are not affiliated with us. Please report any suspicious messages, payment requests, or individuals misrepresenting OBV to our team immediately so we can investigate.

SUBMIT YOUR APPLICATION
Complete the application form at the bottom of this page. Once your submission has been received, a member of our team may contact you to arrange a short conversation. This is an informal virtual interview where we learn more about you, your interests, your experience, and the type of work you are best suited for. We encourage applicants to be open about their strengths and areas for growth so we can match creators with suitable freelance opportunities.

Following this conversation, successful applicants may be invited to join our Creator Network.

SIGN OUR CREATOR NETWORK AGREEMENT
If accepted, you will be asked to sign a Creator Network Agreement. This is not an employment agreement. It is an agreement outlining our community standards, ethical expectations, and the professional conduct required when working within our network.

Membership in the Creator Network does not guarantee work or ongoing engagement. Opportunities are offered on a project-by-project basis.

CONTRACTOR REQUIREMENTS
To work with us on paid projects, you must:

• Be registered as a sole trader or independent contractor in New Zealand

• Have a valid legal right to work in New Zealand

• Provide a New Zealand bank account for payment purposes

Please note that OBV does not sponsor work visas, but we will be open to work with contractors who already hold valid work visa rights.

As an independent contractor, you are responsible for managing your own tax obligations, ACC levies, health insurance and other statutory responsibilities required under New Zealand law.

PROJECT ENGAGEMENT
All work offered through the Creator Network is contracted per project or “per gig.”

Each project will be accompanied by its own written agreement, which will outline the specific scope of work, payment terms, deliverables, timelines, and any other relevant conditions. Because each project differs, payment amounts and contractual terms may vary between engagements.

CONFIDENTIALITY
In some cases, our clients may require confidentiality protections. When this occurs, contractors may be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) before participating in the project.
